Plant Type
Itoh
Itoh peonies (or Intersectional peonies) combine the best traits of the Garden and Tree peony varieties to produce an especially hardy, but prolifically beautiful flower. Adorning their tailored shape, Itoh peonies often have 50 or more blooms of enormous flowers from their many buds. The Bartzella features sunshine yellow petals with peeking crimson red centers. Its foliage sprouts copper-burgundy and evolves into a glossy green in full sun. With a measure of up to 8 inches across and a sweet fragrance, the Bartzella peony can withstand all the heavy rainfall of summer!
