About Sir Winston Churchill - Daffodil Bulbs (Double)

Narcissus

Seed Type Bulb
Plant Type Double

Strong and stately like its namesake, and a lot prettier! The Sir Winston Churchill daffodil, aka Sir Winston Churchill narcissus, is a regular award-winner with its exquisite orange/yellow corona framed by ivory white petals. And it smells sooo good! It's a double daffodil—so big and fluffy, it looks like a gardenia or camellia. Double daffodils are not very common, but they're as easy to grow as other varieties. And they'll really impress your neighbors. Put Sir Winston Churchill in beds, borders, containers, and arrangements. (In arrangements, make sure the flowers are completely open before cutting.) Plant them in groups of 6 or more for a really stunning effect. Tip: The stems are pretty fragile, so plant these daffodils in a place where they won't be exposed to a lot of wind and rain.
