About Pinball Wizard - Allium Bulbs (Giant)

Allium

Seed Type Bulb
Plant Type Giant
Also known as Giant Onion, Ornamental Onion, Flowering Onion

Give your garden some pop and pizzazz with the Pinball Wizard allium! It's the shorter version of the Globemaster allium, growing to about 2 feet tall. Plant it with its taller twin next to peonies or irises, and you'll have a beautiful mix of sizes, colors, and textures in your flower bed! Plant the Pinball Wizard in the fall, and you'll see its bright violet blooms in late spring to early summer. Like all alliums, it belongs to the onion family, and the telltale scent does a great job warding off rabbit, deer, and other curious critters. Alliums are excellent pollinators, too!
