About Mont Blanc - Allium Bulbs (Giant)

Allium

Seed Type Bulb
Plant Type Giant
Also known as Persian Shallot, Flowering Onion

The Mont Blanc allium is just like its name implies: statuesque—it can grow 3 to 4 feet tall—with a beautiful globe made up of tiny white flowers. Like all alliums, the Mont Blanc makes a great pollinator! Bees and butterflies love alliums, and because of the flowers' onion-y scent, deer and other curious critters stay away. Plant Mont Blancs in the fall and they'll bloom in late spring to early summer, lasting into late summer. Mont Blancs combine really well with other flowers. They'll make your beds and borders look amazing, and they work great in flower arrangements!
