Shipping Policy

    Shipping Method

    Standard shipping method for bulbs is through the US Postal Service and takes 2 to 4 business days in transit beyond handling time.

    Shipping rates are based on the weight of you order and calculated for you during checkout. Orders of larger weight and/or volume will be shipped via FedEX. If your addresss requires a specific method of shipment, please email service@theflowerbulbfarm.com

    All orders will recieve an email confirmation of shipping once they leave our warehouse. This confirmation will include a tracking number which will confirm the method of shipment and provide an estimated time of delivery.

    All perennials, flower bulbs and roots are shipped on a seasonal basis based on USDA zones.

    Pre-ordered Bulbs: Pre-orders will not ship immediately, but they will be delivered at the ideal time for planting in your area. Spring pre-orders are placed any time before March 1. Fall pre-orders are placed any time before September 1. For customers who order bulbs in advance, please see the shipping schedule below. Orders containing both seeds and bulbs may be split into multiple shipments.

    Multiple Ship Dates

    Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your order at the time your order is submitted, regardless of the shipping time for your items. If your order requires multiple shipping dates, you will never be charged more than once for shipping charges.

    Missing/Lost Packages

    For all questions regarding the whereabouts of a package once it's on the way, please first review the tracking information to check the status provided by the carrier, then contact the appropriate shipping carrier with additional questions (either USPS or FedEx for larger orders).

    Sometimes a tracking number may reflect incorrect information or does not show updates reflecting movement of the package. After seven (7) days, a Missing Mail Search Request can be submitted to the Shipping Carrier by the recipient.

    Foreign Destinations

    We do not ship any of our products to locations outside of the United States. The myriad of governmental regulations pertaining to shipping horticultural products abroad simply do not permit us to process foreign orders at this time.

    Expedited Shipping

    The Flower Bulb Farm does not offer expedited shipping at this time.

    Our Promise

    We try our utmost to maintain reliable inventory of all products, and are very proud of our record in doing so. However, as we are a company engaged in what Mother Nature provides, we sometimes experience shortages, delays, and/or crop failures beyond our control. If, for any reason, we are required to backorder any portion of your order, rest assured we will keep you apprised of updated shipping
