Summer Flowering Bulbs to Plant in Spring

Tall, upright astilbe plumes grow in a variety of colors including lavender, pink, white and red accompanied by ferny foliage. Butterflies and beneficial insects adore these fluffy perennials. Plant them in clusters of three or more plants in a shady location for the most outstanding results. They add lovely color near other shade plants such as hostas and will add a special flair to indoor bouquets.
